This five-lead electroencephalograph (EEG) sensor precisely measures left and right brain activity in frequencies ranging from 0.5 to 100 hertz, inclusive of mid and upper gamma. Excellent signal quality owes to advanced shielding from electrical and sound wave inference.

The five leads are 3 feet (1 meter) long. For the standard hookup, four wires terminating in sensor heads are attached to bare scalp with blue disk ringtrodes pasted with conductive Ten20 paste; the fifth wire uses pre-gelled electrodes applied to bare skin for grounding the signal.

The EEG sensor plugs into one port of the Vilistus DSU. With removal of the sensor heads, the Dry Electrodes Kit can be attached to the EEG for a faster and cleaner hookup requiring no skin preparation with NuPrep gel.
