Wrapped around two adjacent fingers, the Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) sensor consists of Velcro strips containing a single, embedded electrode. The electrodes impose a tiny current across the skin to detect sweat gland activity that indicates psychophysiological relaxation or arousal.

Relative changes are measured in one window, with absolute Lesh Scale readings in another. The Lesh Scale numbers correspond to Mind Mirror patterns, enabling meditators to use the GSR alone for EEG brainwave pattern training.
