Two surface electromyography (sEMG) electrodes are applied directly to muscles anywhere on the body to measure, monitor, and train down localized tension. The depth of meditation depends on the relaxation of the body and mind. Chronic tension prevents complete physical relaxation and tends to disorganize brainwave patterns. Self-regulation with the sEMG sensor retrains muscles to deepen relaxation and promote overall health and well-being.
